Wipers won't stay off

When it's been rainy or wet and not raining, my wipers are turned off, but they keep coming on as if it were on the first click for the intermittent wipers! What do I do? Is there some kind of rain sensor?

Do you have them set to courtesy wipe? Check your manual. It puts an extra swipe across your windshield after a short delay. I have it turned off on mine. That's the first thing is I'd check. Otherwise, more investigation is needed.

Now they've turned off. Weird. Has this ever came up on here? The truck did this a couple months ago. Well, we'll see what happens.

I've had 2. 11s and just whenever it gets a hair up its butt. When start it it will make 1sweep. With courtesy wipe turned off.

After drinking too much at a party, Bob and Millie Frazer awaken in a strange bed, in a strange house in a strange town. They're still dressed in the clothes they wore to the party but their memories are fuzzy.

Mine still does it too but not as often as it did when it was new in 2010 with early firmware.
Turn key to on (KOEO) and it would swipe.
Courtesy swipe has been off in my truck since the summer of 2010.

Mine does it sometimes. It's not a courtesy wipe. Like you say, wipers are off and they act like they are on the first click, about that timing and they stay like that forever, until I shut off and re start the truck.

It's really anoying in the winter when you DON'T want them to wipe water all over your clean windshield that freezes and makes it impossible to see.

No idea what causes it but mine only does it if I turn the wipers on then off (they don't turn off). But only sometimes.....

If you find a fix I would be glad to hear it
