what year began the 3" intake manifold ?

what year began the 3" intake manifold ?
got this mid year '01 and wondering if the intakes for the 7.3 are still 2 1/2 " as this thing is going to end up as a parts truck and want me some 3" intakes on the motor i'm building, thanks again

I believe L99-03 were all 3"

Agree. L99 and up are 3".
