Well, got the axles. They're huge. Rear came with disks already. I think they're just going to go under my jeep. No sense in messing with the tow rigs suspension, now anyways.

$1,200?! I guess then it's cost vs. effect. Is the better stopping/larger rear brakes outweigh the $1,200? depends on how much you haul I guess.

I would consider disk brakes despite the cost and I did on my 96 SRW. But since I got the dually I have put disk brakes on the 5er I haul and they are great at stopping.

For the SRW disc conversion it's '96 E350 rotors and 3/4 ton Chevy front calipers ONLY for price since the ford calipers are supposedly more expensive. I have a full kit sitting at my house for the 10.25 that's eventually going to go under my bronco.

I'd pay more for Ford calipers. I mean what's the cost difference anyway?

I never looked into it since most everywhere you look it has the part suggestions and says: "This one also uses the GM Caliper for the 73-87 3/4 Ton 4x4 Front with the MKD153 pads.(We use GM brake parts because they are 1/2 the cost of the Ford and are less expensive than the wedge system." -Ruffstuffspecialties.com

Hey guys. I know this is OBS but maybe yall can help me. I finally started tearing into these super duty axles. It's a dana 60 and 10.5 out of the newest model of f350's (not sure of the year but it has the new style silver ford locking hubs). I'm on the rear axle and pulled the rotors. Underneath it looks like drum brakes...is there supposed to be both? Maybe I'm just dumb but I'm confused. Thanks!

Stolen as in he just is taking his sweet a$$ time fixing it so he can drive it?

Or stolen as in you haven't heard from him in a very long time and your truck isnt in his driveway and you cant get ahold of him?

Hopefully he is just taking his sweet time because he likes it so much.
Either way hopefully it works out for ya!

Hope it works out, if it's really stolen, I'm sure you would have reported it by now. It's gotta show up at a fuel pump sometime.

Stolen as in it was supposed to be done by November 15 and I've received one text since then and it's not where he told me it was going to be getting worked on
