Bobby, you all realize we're all a bunch of enablers, don't you? Who else would send some we would consider a friend out in the middle of no where to look at rusty iron. We're all sick, just sick

was sold on ebay, as I lost the bid, back when I actually had money. Ended up bought by someone I know from the oldihc.org site.

Do you ever use Google Earth? if so, here are the coordinates to the truck;
Lattitude- 32°53'17.68"N
Longitude- 104°24'4.95"W

I would guess its an old oilfield gin pole truck. Artesia, NM is in the heart of oil country.

I found it! I found it! I found it! How old is the feed on google earth?

One of the buttons on the toolbar above the image on Google Earth will let you see historical imagery. From the looks of things the images go back to 1997, the newest image appears to be Arpil 2013. the truck hasn't moved in that whole time period.

Again, I haven't been down that way for about 4 years or so.

As long as we're doing some enabling here.....
...and if you're going to make the short drive over from Tucson, then, you might as well make the most of it and check out a few of these other sites that are close by....

as I mentioned, Artesia is oil and gas country and there are several old lots on the east end of town that are full of old big trucks, etc.

Look at these;
Latitude - 32°50'1.89"N
Longitude - 104°18'30.84"W

and
Latitude - 32°49'47.88"N
Longitude - 104°17'24.94"W

this place is mainly cars and stuff, looks like its starting to get thinned out;
Latitude - 32°52'23.95"N
Longitude - 104°22'36.02"W

....bring a big trailer....LOL

Oh yea. You can't be too careful. The bed of the truck might not be big enough for the gun cabinet/wardrobe. I think it would definately ride easier on the 48' flatbed....LOL

Bobby
you get me loud and clear
Besides I am going out there with my diesel pickup , my fuel consumption will be the same pulling the trailer or not pulling the trailer.!!? That's my story and I'm sticking to it! Lol
