I bought one of the Champion ones for my'55, it said it was for a sbc engine in a Ford. It works great, only problem is that it's too tall to fit into the shroud. Tempting too cut a u shape into the top to allow the cap and top to fit into the shroud, other than that,it works great. L8R ZFLASH

I found a champion on there that said it was made for a 56 F100. I forget the seller but it fit like a glove and looks nice. Mine was the 169 dollar one, can't remember if I paid shipping.

I have two champions and just bought another one for my 51 F1. They have been great, I buy the 3 row ones, little more money but I want the extra capacity. LT1 in my 47 cadillac never gets over 190 degrees.

I bought one but not running yet.the look and fit is fine .can not say about it holding up to use. I am now thinking about a shroud and protecting it from any fin damage on either side. its not a be-cool but I still be-broke.. can not pay the bills but yesterday the big brown box truck left me a flaming river column and u-joint. pay- pal is still working.....

I bought an ebay rad from Northern radiator for my V8 Jeep. Very happy with it. I forget the price, but it was reasonable.

Good Morning Dr. Smith,
I also grabbed a 3 row Champion off of one of the eBay folks. I picked mine back in September of 2012 from Brent of koolradiators, great gentleman to do business with. I also got the overflow tank. I don't think I've seen the temp gauge go over 180 - EVER.

I also have a 3 row Champion off of Ebay, but I don't have enough miles on it to give an opinion on durability. So far, so good.

I bought a champion 3 row for my 55 off ebay it was a direct fit, keeps the engine nice and cool. 150 - 160 up to 180 if I sit too long. the only issue I had was with the trans cooler lines into the radiator, if you have an auto be careful as mine broke off and no one seems to be able to fix. I just ended up with a trans cooler.

I bought my Champion from The Cooling Pro's on Ebay. First they sent the wrong one. Called them and they sent the right one that day and asked me to ship back the original and they would refund my shipping costs. Got the new one and it fit well. Sent back the first one and finally got my $$ refunded after 4 phone calls and a month of hassle.

Have only warmed up the engine and driven two times about 1/2 mile each, so can't say anything about longevity.

I bought an American Eagle 2 row off E-Bay. It fits really good and has a trans cooler built in. it was under $200.00 and is good to up to 350HP. I'm running a stock 5L / AOD out of an 88 Lincoln Town Car. I feel it will be just fine. I had the Rad Shop guy that does our work stuff look at it and he said it was a good product at a really good price.
