What happened to your other account Joe? I didn't call you because Ted (the mechanic across the street) was home at the time, and I thought it would be a simple job to do. When it turned out to be a hassle, it was already too late.

Well, if you want an immediate job, you can install a heater core in my F350. Or maybe find out why the tailgate on the Bronco does not work. Or, even install the window lift for the rear window in the Bronco, however, that most likely will involve drilling out the rivets holding...wait, the old window lift is already out. So it is just a matter of installing the new one. PM me if you want to do any of this. I can get the heater core for under $30, and I already have the new window lift motor.

Okay, will do, if worse comes to worse, I'll just take it to a body shop and have it fixed, and they can fix the alignment too, since even with the tailgate closed, it is loose on the driver's side.

Joe, I used to live in the Shaver Lake area. Worked on a fire crew up in the Kaiser Wilderness back in the days of glory, 1979 and 1980...
I remember one of the guys I worked with had made reference to some of his friends from Caruthers. He called them "The Caruthers Brothers". He told stories about going frog giggin' with them and drinking lots of beer.
Does this sound familiar, by chance?

Tailgate is fixed, so it will open and close now. Window motor has been replaced, but it turns out the switch in the dash is bad. So that was ordered, and will be here Monday. The switch in the tailgate for the window is also bad as it does nothing when turned either way. However, the dash switch was $105, and I will just live with only being able to raise/lower the rear window with that for now. Window is all the way up right now, which it has never been the entire 2 years I have owned it.

John is going to lower the trailer tomorrow, so it will make car hauling easier. And he mentioned that he would pay $50 a tow to have cars towed to his shop. So that will supplement my car flipping business. And my brother mentioned that he has a friend who hauls cars to the junkyard and makes money on the side doing that. So maybe I can advertize for junk car removal on Craigslist and make some money doing that too. Might as well put the F350 and trailer to work for me right?

TGIF Nor Cal FTE and friends! Hope everyone has a great day.

Going to be a busy one for me, going to pick up the trailer from storage, take it to John to get lowered, then I have a 10:20 am DMV appointment, and after that, go down and get Joe and have him install a heater core in the F350, and maybe even find out where it is leaking tranny fluid from.
