Third row DVD

I am curious what options there are for a third row DVD player. I have five kids and we currently use handheld DVD players, but between the charging cords and headphones and DVD cases it really turns into a mess on trips.

I know that the second row DVD options have been discussed here ad nauseum. What about the third row options though? What are some of you doing?

i would think that headrest monitors on the back of the second row would work well, or a large enough overhead monitor for the back row to see maybe?

Agreed. Headrest are the easiest and you can retain the stock look. Just store the headphones in the side console in the third row

we have a long overhead console with 2 tvs, 1 for each row. also 2 dvds with 2 channel headphones.
works well for us because the older kids can watch a different movie than the youngin's.
they all wear headphones so we can enjoy the music.
Truck in the shop for new ficm. can post pics when Its back.

I did this in my Expy EL. I have 1 left that I plan on installing in the X. If it works okay, I'll buy another one and put for the 3rd row to utilize.

got 2 of them a few years back for about $220 shipped. nice units that can play DVD's/CD's, or act as recievers for whatever the in-dash unit is playing. also uses 2 channel RF headphones so you don't have to listen to the kids crap
