That you do Steve. Inside it gets crazy. I worked New Years day once. I was by myself the whole day. When I left there was still at least 25 tools that needed cleaned and put away. Dept supervisor didn't think it would be that busy based on the previous years numbers. Boy was he wrong. When I had left for the day I had 30 minutes of OT I had to get rid of.
I bet it has Steve. I was full time and the ydidnt want us to have overtime. If we had an hour of OT we had to cut it somehow. Usually take a longer lunch, come in late or go home early.
For me Home Depot was my second retail job. First one lasted all of 2 weeks back when I was in school. Worked for another Home improvement store that went bankrupt. Store I worked at closed 2 weeks after I was hired. It is now a grocery store.
never worked in a restaurant. Worked for Hechingers for 2 weeks. Then no work after that until my junior year of high school when I started working for a bus company. Left there for a dealership for all of 2 months. Then started taking a few college classes. After I graduated I worked for a cemetery with a friend until Home depot. Then went back to the cemetery after Home Depot. Now working at a university.
It has been Steve. I worked at the cemetery until I put in the app with the university. Just had a gut feeling I would be hired. And I have been here for 6 years now.
