Your issue will be hard to pin down without some effort to ID the cause before replacing parts on a guess and a hope..
Best to have a shop use a Scanner with capability to look at mode 6, test 53.
This looks at all the misfire monitors 'records' for each cylinder.
Looking for the one or ones with a high count as the cause of the misfire.
The reason you may not see a CEL indicating a code (that would be to easy)
is the misfire goes away and the temporary record is cancelled that would generate the code after the misfire clears each time.
