Did it while cooking it Rick. Lets see added garlic,ancho chili powder, chipotle chili powder, ground cayenne, smoked paprika,fresh ground pepper, kosher salt, regular chili powder, and tabasco sauce. Also a dash or two of cocoa powder.

 

Cocoa powder, really, never heard of that in chilli.

 

JUst a little bit Rick. Gives a splash of color and helps the spices pop in it.

 

Have to remember that. Wifey puts the chilli over a bed of flat egg noodles.

 

What do you guys think about using drop blocks and cut coils?

 

I usually just serve it in a bowl topped with some diced red onion,sour cream and some shredded 4 cheese blend. Add some crackers and or cornbread and it is tasty.

 

We do the onion, sour cream, and cheese. No crackers, maybe on the side.
