Being your uncle has a body shop and that is where the work was done, I would expect body shop work and I guess you achieved that

If you take away a select few replies it's still a good thread lol I mean I went back and agreed yes I should've removed more but the diassembling, wet sanding, primer, paint, and reassembling all took place over 1 weekend since I was in HS had 30+ work hours, and 2 sports.

Don't worry bud, I left it on for your sake, but I for one won't be allowing personal attacks if I can avoid them, there is a proper way to correct someone, and it isn't crushing him down to the ground.

Don't worry about what these guys say. Someone willing to take the plunge and learn should be commended. Most of the naysayers have probably never even picked up a spray rig let alone had enough guts to paint their ride.

What you did was great for a first time job. Take what you have learned and the next time will be even better. Do that each time and you'll leave these guys in your dust trail. Enjoy your new look and be proud of your work.

I'm going to be clearing it and I might have to spray the whole truck, and I've definitely came a long way since then. I'll everything but the windows.. Maybe I should remove them but I feel like it will turn out fine without it. If I do have to respray the whole rig, I might go for these 2 colors what do yall think? https://www.google.com/search?q=gt50...%3B1900%3B1200 red candy or deep impact blue https://www.google.com/search?q=gt50...%3B2136%3B1086

I wonder what a two-toned combo of those two would look like..... Certainly would be custom.

Well stated...there is a fine art of being able to disagree without being disagreeable. Some here (well, someONE) has yet to learn that nuance. People generally shun someone who has an exaggerated sense of self-importance and that makes the know-it-all bitter and mad at the world.
That said, I think your truck came out fine! Keep it up and keep us posted.

Roger
