Fixing oil leak

Well, I have been ignoring oil leak, which appears to be coming from somewhere near the firewall from drivers side valve cover? Dunno. Oil on number 8 spark plug wire and boot and strangely some on the big AC hose that is in that general area. Not sure how it's getting on the AC hose. Tried to tighten bolts on valve cover, but they barely turned so they seem okay. Not sure where else to look. Getting at those valve covers and replacing gaskets, if that's the issue looks like a lot of work. Removing the upper intake manifold, throttle body, all the various wires and vacuum hoses all over the place, blech. Will try and post photos. Is there anywhere else I should look for oil leak? Possibly PCV blowback? Where the heck is the PCV on my engine anyway?
