I would normally search, but its getting late and im trying to get this done. I have a 98 expo, but am putting the seats from a 99 navi in. I though the seat wiring would be the same but the passenger has wiring I do not know what it is except for 2.

The driver seat also has more wiring than mine, and my helms doesn't cover all these wires.

can someone direct me to a better schematic so I can finish this wiring?

 

I just looked at a diagram posted in another thread. There are 4 wires on the pass. seat. In the diagram it shows multiple wires for different functions. I tapped the wire to a battery to check the function and the 1 wire controlled everything, so I'm curious what the other 2 wires are for, anyone?

not unless they made seats with automatic heaters in them. I saw another navi and it had controls for that on it.

One other question, does anyone happen to know the size for the bolts on the rear seats? I'm putting captains chairs in the 2nd row and from past reading I thought here would be a removable plate for the swap, and I need to use a tap and die which I've never used.

 

There are different options with different diagrams. Does your Expedition or the Navigator seats have any of the option listed below?

Heat/Cool seats?
Memory seats?
Lumbar support seats?
Side airbag in the seats?

 

No It Doesn't, it Does Have Manual Lumbar Tho. I StoppeD Looking For The Time Being ToGet This Driver Seat Out. My Motor Went Out ForUp And Back So IM StrugglingToGetItOut.

I franky'd it from my other chair and he new one. I would like to know what the other wires are tho, maybe I can hook something else up.
