Well I just made a deal for the 6 rims that GB SISSON has. Now I need 1 more that mounts behind the cab as a spare.
Here is the listing from ebay that I won
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1953-FORD-F3....html?_sacat=0

I had it shipped to Buffalo NY using U Ship

Great looking truck. As for the spare wheel, you might call this Oregon yard and see what you can work out on one of the pictured Budd 71320s. The yard is U-Pull It U-Save in Boring, OR, and their phone is (503)663-2211. Tell them the wheels are on a blue Dodge way in the back. One has a bend in it, so avoid that, and the wheels on the front are not tubeless. Obviously avoid them. They should be able to find the part number on the drop center of the outer rim. Stu

That truck looks to be in good shape and complete. It's definitely different and cool!

Sounds like we both bought '53 F350s when we turned 53. Happy birthday to us. Couldn't send this on PM, so here is (was) mine. Can you recognize 'seller's remorse'? I couldn't open the pics of yours. Can you post them up here? It's worth it becoming a 'premium member' or whatever it's called. I'll be following your progress for sure.

On the spare: You do realize you are carrying two spares all the time. The truck will do just fine with five wheels if you have a flat. If you are loaded heavy, you need may a spare.

Yes it is a flat 8. The spare tire is for looks only. It is off now and the spare tire balances the looks of the truck
