Do you know anything about the new replacement engine? When I use to swap out engines I tried to replace wear items like a new water pump, & thermostat. New hoses, new plugs, check cap & rotor. If you see any areas of oil leaks might replace gaskets. make sure motor mounts are in good shape. of course oil & filter.

While its out I would replace the freeze plugs, rear main seal, oil pump, oil pan gasket, water pump and probably the timing chain.
