you'll be perfectly fine. I'm running 315/75/16 tires on my factory 04 F-250 rims. tires wear nice and evenly and no issues coming off the bead.

with a truck tire, you can run wider tires with a taller sidewall. I wouldn't run that wide a tire on a 20" rim due to the extremely short sideway...but on a 16" rim it's just fine

I would check the load rating on the tires, sounds like they are load range D with the 55 psi max. They won't carry what the truck is rated for since it came with load range E (80 psi max) stock. Which is fine as long as you don't carry anything in the truck. I run lower pressure in the winter too, but usually 55 psi down from 75 psi. On bad days I will drop again to 40 psi, but then I drive slow and easy.

Not for the OP's tire size! His are rated for a max of 50 PSI if they are load range D, 65 if they are load range E.
