There is an interesting write-up about that car and the push by DeLorean to get Pontiac a "Corvette" on Hemmings on-line as I recall. The OHC 6 would be cool. Rear end sure looks like a Toronado!

I can definitely see why GM was afraid it would take away from Corvette sales. Interesting car.
