IPB for AM/FM/Cassette radio

I'm looking for an illustrated parts breakdown for the AM/FM/Cassette radio out of my '92. The ***** are showing more flex than I am comfortable with and the clock switch on the volume control is getting flaky, and I'd sooner replace them with the made-to-fit parts rather than kluge something up.

I'm not particularly interested in replacing it with something aftermarket; I'd sooner fix this one.

I don't think you'll find one - Ford replaced them as units when they failed and the OEM that made them for Ford (Pioneer) hasn't released parts sheets for any unit they OEM'd.

There are, however, services out there that can repair these.

If the factory radio out of my '91 is something you'd like, I'll be glad to give it to you. It is AM-FM, no cassette. But its in cherry condition - everything on it works - the truck has only 71,600 miles. I'm about to put a stereo in this truck and I won't have any need for the factory head unit.

In '92 they changed the dash (among other things) so mine not be right, you'll have to check. I can send a picture if you want.

Compatibility...

You can also upgrade to the newer style used in the 94-96 trucks. They seem to be more readily available via online sellers & are (at least the basic units - not the premium ones with the remote amplifier) plug & play.
