Could we see some pictures? Here is how.

But I got ta say becoming a supporter is the fastest and easiest way to post pics right from
your whatever pad/cell thing or home computer.
Few of us look in the users Gallery or album as you can see by your recent visitors.

Here's How to Post Pictures:
1. Login to FTE.
2.Click User CP (In the Top Left Hand Corner)
3.(On the Left, There will be a list, The 5th Option Down, will say "Pictures & Albums) Click That.
4.Then, Click Add Album, Enter a title, and description, if ya want to.
5. Click Upload Pictures, Then click Browse, Locate the Files of your truck. (You can add 3 files at a time)
5. Click Upload.
6. Add a description to the individual pictures, then click save.
7. Add more files if ya want.
8. Click The Picture you want to post, it will give you two codes at the bottom, Right Click The Second one (It say's BB Code, Then Say's [IMG]http:blahblahblah...[/IMG])

It seems awkward, but whenever you "insert a picture" to one of these threads, the forum is looking for the picture somewhere on the web (which is always available) rather than from somewhere on your hard drive (which isn't always available).

Go to Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket and sign up for a free account. Then create an album for your truck. Upload any pics you want to post on FTE to that album. Have this album open on your computer when you want to post pics on FTE.

While you're making a post on FTE, select the pic you want to post from your Photobucket album. When the large version of the pic is open, right mouse click on it and select "View Image Info". The image info will be highlighted and will look something like this:
The best photos and videos | Photobucket

Copy that highlighted info (right click / copy).

When you have the spot in your post where you want the pic to be placed, select the "Insert Image" icon at the top of the post (looks like a mountain) and paste (right click / paste) the image info you copied in the highlighted box (just shows "http://" when it opens).

Your pic will be placed in the post.

Hope that helps.

Here's a tutorial Bob put together: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/67...-pictures.html Bob's link is not working. Can someone in the know tell me why?

All of this is well and good but WHAT HAPPENED to "update gallery"? It has worked well for 8 years and now it doesn't. Does anyone have an answer to that particular question?

I have finally figured out that my older photos will upload just fine, newer photos (taken with my daughter's camera) are too big and will not upload. I will try taking new photos tomorrow (with my camera) and see what happens

I usually just use a cheap editor to resize the pic to 650 wide by whatever it works out to be, keep it in a sub folder called "FTE", and upload from there. I keep it in a separate folder so I don't accidentally overwrite the original.

Re-sized photo and...... voila !

Weather has been above zero the last couple of days, so removed side roof panels to upholster. Some flaws, but I can live with them.

Still have side panels to upholster; will work on sunvisors over the winter

For gallery pix file size is limited to 3145728 bytes, you are also limited to 10 galleries. Most digital cameras and even some smart phones take HUGE size pictures, all well and good if you want to print enlargements, or do heavy cropping, but way overkill if you are displaying them onscreen.
Most all cameras come with some sort of editing software packaged with it, or you can go to Product reviews and prices, software downloads, and tech news - CNET, select downloads, search on picture editor, then select free checkbox. I usually resort by editor's rating. Cnet's downloads are all checked and are virus free.
I use Corel Photopaint which is not free, but is part of the Corel Draw! suite. It is a powerful editor and paint program easily rivaling the much more expensive stand alone program Photoshop. It is probably overkill for most unless you want to do high end photoediting/manipulation.
I resample (resize and adjust resolution) to 800 or 1280 pixles wide x whatever the program gives me for the other dimension, 75 DPI resolution (fine for screen display) 50% JPG compression, 10% smoothing, and save the file with a different name such as (ABC) reduced.jpg to a separate directory where I can easily find it. I find there is no appreciable loss of image quality but the file size is reduced by up to 90%!

FatFenders,
now you go to user cp, edit gallery (under settings and options on left) select edit for whatever gallery you want to add to. Scroll down below the dialog box to see the old browse box add method.
