So how much are they paying the mods here? Because either youre getting finacial kickbacks or you live in moms basement and have no life. Those are the only two reason i can think of anyone to get this butthurt over being a mod on an internet forum.

the threads were deleted, and all the outside moderator traffic in this forum was caused by repeted abuse of the report post feature.
when there are 10 reported posts one day, and 12 the next day all done by 4 people and all for stupid things, you get every administrators, moderators and super moderators attention.
you have a problem? fine. bring it up to a person that that can take care of the problem the proper way. IN PRIVATE.
but don't start trouble if you are the reason most of the problems started.
and don't go saying we are making things up, because all the points that are being made are documented.
one person here claimed we are making up the facts, but there are 17 instances where the exact thing was posted in the past few weeks alone, and that same person is responsible for most of it.
it has been said before, and i will say it again.
this forum is for everyone. it is not a private playground for a select few users.
PLAY BY THE RULES, OR LEAVE.

I have another question since we're pointing fingers and passing blame.
Why was StG banned when moderators regularly make up fake usernames to post questions for the sole purpose of increasing traffic in lower traffic areas? I know of one moderator here who does this in the 385 series forum and I would be willing to bet others do it in other sections. If some members can have multiple usernames why can't others? Could this be example ellebenty of our wonderful double standard in practice?

Tom, I think we are slightly beyond the behind closed doors approach this week. You can't drop a load of crap in our lap and then hide behind your pm box.
All this needs to stop or you won't have anyone left to moderate.

So I don't read teh forums for a couple days and stuff blows up. I don't have a dog in this fight, but I do read the 4x4 forum quite often, because I find it funny with a lot of good info. The guys here don't hand hold and rip the pacifiers out...in a day where everyone has to worry about being PC, I can appreciate a shot between the eyes and no candy coating. I'm on several 4x4 and truck forums, I typically find the ones that get butthurt and get the knowledgeable guys banned far more detrimental than an old timer putting a newbie (who usually doesn't bring anything to the table) in his place. My 2 cents...but it is worth $37 and some change.

as was said before, people are tired of the dual standards for this forum and other forums. it has gone on way to long.

I have as much right to be here as you do Tom and maybe even more so. Its a proven fact that its easier to find someone to fill your roll than it is to fill mine. You and your fellow moderators should obey the rules you all seem to have a chub for enforcing or find another sandbox to play in. I this is the point you're either missing or for some reason avoiding.
