Well, I tried my hand on drum brakes for the first time last night and let me just say, I hate the em effers. I finally figured it out after disassembly and reassembly about 10 times, slamming my head into the wheel well a couple times and punching myself in the throat because of the pliers slipping off the springs.
Drivers side drum fits back on but the passengers side will not go on no matter what. The adjuster is all the way in and I have everything right but it's like the drum is a hair to small or the shoes have to much meat on them.
Is there a trick this or something?
Edit: it's on the 97 btw

The guy at vatozone said they were the right ones.. wouldn't be the first time though.
They look identical, but I noticed two of them were thicker on one side so I swapped one out (one thinner and one thicker on each side now) I was able to tap the p-side drum on with a hammer.
and the adjuster is still all the way in...
