Finally did the cup holder upgrade

Well it has been a long long long road putting up with that old cup holder not sure how many times I have lost drinks out of that thing.
Bear with me I am going to try and post before and after pics.

As you can see I think the upgrade will do a much better job of securely holding aformentioned drinks.

HaHa!! Congrats!
How do you like it? My father has a '12 with about 85k on it now. He absolutely loves it and so do I. Tows like no other pickup I've ever driven.

Nothing will ever replace the good ol 7.3 though, IMO.

Seems good so far but I have only put almost 75 miles on it so far. Just picked it up today. I think I am gonna like it.

and yeah I dont have any plans on letting the 7.3 go. That is an AE cable you see in the first pic laying on one of my bill sheets. Still have to figure out why I am not making enough pressure. The plan is to get it running again and drive it when I have jobs within about 80 mile radius of the house, and hook up the new one to go further out, but after riding around in the new one for awhile I am not sure how realistic that is going to be. Sounds good though.

That was funny !!! LOL I had to look twice and then said that is one expensive upgraded cup holder. Congrats on the new truck!!

I hope you keep the old truck to use in the case of have a nasty job to do or the weather is bad and there is a higher chance of someone stupid running into you. Because I would cry to see someones new truck wrecked because some dumba$$ is texting in rain or snow.

I have only had my E99 F350 for about 3 yrs but up until about a year ago I still had a 1989 F150 Lariat that I had over 15 yrs. So it was nice having the F150 for nasty jobs and not worry about door dings in parking lots. Also can't forget the run away shopping carts on a windy day! Finally my wife said I had to get rid of old truck. I miss it.

It looks like the difference between a Cessna and a Leer, amazing how far they have come.

I wonder what a 2025 will look like.

Congrats on the new truck! I'm sure you're loving the ride and the quiet... it's a bit of a difference. Clever way to announce it.

I know thats right. As Rich would say it is one hell of a buckzooka round, I guess I should say I will be firing a round every month for a long long time, and still need to find some laying around for the 7.3 Yikes

Well if the 7.3 turns into a money pit which we know that can happen at the drop of a hat. And you have to let her go that would be sad but at least you'll be able to keep the one with nice cup holders!

I have no plans on letting the 7.3 go. I actually would like to get it up and running again and maybe still use it for work around town, and take the new one on the far away jobs but I dont know how realistic of a thought that is after working out of it for the first time today.
I can just see myself trying to tell my 7.3 to change radio stations or make it colder or answer the phone or turn my seat on. I dont think it will do what it is told. HE HE HE
Oh well sounds good though
