94 460 F350 dump truck issues!

hey guys hows it going? so got a few issues on hand that i would love to get done before the first snow fall so i can be making money again with this truck. now this is whats done to the truck. started back 3 years ago i pulled the cab and bed off the truck. pulled the motor and trans. refinished the entire frame and hydraulic system on truck. nice fire engine red color for the frame. lol i put a 1995 F150 cab on it witch had no scratches and is the same thing. i put in a rebuild 460 and E4OD trans. i put the factor wiring harness on it and new computer since my brother dropped it in a bucket of paint :/ but i have the whole truck back together. my issue is it sounds great when it is cold but once it comes up to temp it back fires and sputters with no power. now this truck does not have the air pump or CAT on it. still has the O2 sensors. im kinda lost at this point trying to pin point the issue. anything that you guys can think of would be more than enough

to add a little more information to the pile. i have noticed when trying to drive the truck the check engine light will come on and off at completely random times. i noticed i had a few brocken wires on one section of my harness. all wires have been fixed. cant seem to find anymore broken wires.

Get a code reader, they're around $35-$40 at most parts stores

Get the right computer? open it check its condition check for leaking capacitors or any obvious problems such as water damage/burnt areas on the main board?

I have a MODIS scan tool that I borrowed and I got no codes when I used it. The computer is a brand new replacement from ford itself. I thought that maybe the gave me a bad one. So I brought it back in and the showed me the physical test the did to it and everything is working 100% they way it should

No codes at all? should have at least received "system pass" codes as a normal reply from the computer if nothing was found wrong KOEO, or stored CM during the process. 111 for both of them, passed both those two time to run KOER test, if computer believes all is fine get another 111. If you get nothing no codes at all something is wrong there big time.

That I understand but to me it seems that I am looking over something that just isn't making sense. I mean its only acting up when its warm. Could it be a sensor that is failing then correcting itself that fast but won't show up?. Trying to look at all possible outcomes lol

That why its always suggested to start with the computer, check for any codes, see what if anything it knows about it. Either trouble codes or system pass, gotta know that to move forward.

Runs fine or seams to cold then acting up once warm points to problem with computer control, based on what you've stated the point it goes closed loop is when things go down hill.

If the computer gives no response at all? that is not a good thing and that is the very first issue you need to address. Any other plain of attack that does not include taking care of that problem and first? is a waste of time.

Something is wrong with the ECM if the check engine light flashes and there are not stored codes.

The ONLY time it will come on with no codes it a bulb check with initially started
