63 F100 4x4 - Wheels and Tires Help
Since my project is getting closer to completion, and my tires are 100% shot;
I'm looking for wheel and tire options. Since it's a 4x4, I'd like something that would suit it and the current steels wheels just don't seem to do so
I don't have a lift on the truck, but it seems to sit pretty high on it's own..
Any decent wheel and tire suggestions that won't break the bank?

2WD/4WD same 5 lug, 5.50" bolt circle wheels: 1953/79 F100 - 1966/96 Bronco - 1969/72 E200 - 1975/96 F150 - 1975/2013 E100/150 / Some 1980/83 F100's have 5 lug 5.50" some have 5 lug 4.50" bolt circles.
Some 1965/66's, all 1967 and later are "outie" wheels. Hubcap snaps over tabs located on the outside of the wheels center section.
Some 1965/66's, all 1953/64's came with "innie" wheels. Hubcap snaps over tabs located on the inside of the wheels center section.
1977: First year for Styled Steel & Aluminum wheels for F100/150's, Bronco's got 'em in 1978. Same/similar wheels used thru 1996.
The hubcaps (Ford called 'em ornaments) are either black or chromed plastic, attach to the wheels with 3 black or chrome screws using expanding anchors, holes located within the bolt circle.

Thanks for the information, I guess I need to clarify a little.
I'm trying to decide on wheel size and tire size and am looking for ideas that will work without a lift
I am considering 16x10 (5 on 5.5) with 35x12.5x16.5 tires; I'm just not sure if they will run OK on my truck (stock height)
I think the stock wheels are 15. Not sure what tires are on it now, but they look pretty small in relation to the truck
I saw a picture (red 63 4x4, Eric) that has the look I'm after but don't know what wheels and tires he has on it

Not sure if 35's will fit or not with stock height I know 33's will I ran 33x12.5x15 rims and tires on my stock height 64 f100 4x4 with the right back spacing 35's might clear sure someone else will chime in and be able to tell more on running 35's here's my truck just to give an idea on tires and rims

Any decent wheel and tire suggestions that won't break the bank?

I think you would have to have the hub opening made bigger to fit a 4x4, but I like these.

After some consideration regarding cost, steering and looking at what is currently on the truck, I went with 265/75R-16 tires. The wheels on the truck are 16" currently and after getting the clip back on I think that tire will be fine.
My next question is wheels. I'm thinking about the Black Rock Lobo 950 series. They have a 16x8 5 on 5.5 wheel, 0 offset, 4" backspacing. My big question is if that would work on the 4x4
Thoughts?
