"I'm going with a ratrod theme with this build so for the firewall I patched some random holes "rat" style then clear coated over the entire thing.

Please explain.

I see this is tack welded. Is it sealed from behind? How'd you do this? I'm torn between doing my driver's side floor pan like this or getting an original looking stamped piece to replace it with.

That's really all I did was just heavily tack it in place, I liked the look so left it at that. It's somewhat sealed from the backside with the stick-on sound deadening material I lined the interior with, there's still holes in the firewall but these were the largest ones the others are just small screw or drill holes.

Finally got my tires in and am very satisfied with the new stance and ride.
