Just wanted to tell you thanks for posting the solution. Probably my #1 annoyance on the forums is when there are pages of posts trying to help diagnose and or fix problems the the OP leaves the whole thing hanging. Someone is going to find this whole thread very helpful because the final answer is provided.

Just wanted to put a update in here. It has been almost 25k miles and no problems. I am marking this a success. I daily drive this truck and I am starting to think its dependable
