86 F-250 103K 5.0 302

Well the day has come and I'm looking to sell my baby. I have a Ford F.250 built in 1986. She has a 5.0 liter 302 with 103K original miles. It also has 4x4 that works well. I have only used it a few times just to add a little traction going hunting. Last year I had a good amount of work done. The break system was completely rebuild with new rotor, drums, and Master Cylinder. I replaced the lifter pump and rail pump on the fuel system. The rear tank is disconnected (I never used it). It has a new heater core and tubing. She's always run Castrol Oil and never missed a change. My grandfather bought her in 1985 and drove back and forth to work for 20 years. She's never been dogged and I doubt the speedometer has ever hit it's max of 85. There is a little surface rust on the hood, but that's nothing that a little sand paper won't handle. The body is in great condition, no bends or major dings. Never been in a wreck. Now the motor has recently started knocking due to the main bearing ending their life span. It does not crank at the current moment due to the starter solinoid and starter being burnt to do a short. When that's fixed it'll purr like a kitten. The interior is great! The seat where the driver sits is torn. The floors have a hard rubber kind of like the flooring in police cruisers. It has diamond plate "mats" that I absolutely love. It's so easy to clean and looks AWESOME. The dash is in good condition no cracks. It does have the "speaker" hole in the center breaking apart, but I've had a CB sitting there for the past year. It has a pop up and removable sun-roof that I absolutely love and the only one I've EVER seen in this old of a truck. It does have sliding glass in the rear, and manual windows.

I hate to sell my grandfathers truck because of obvious reasons. However, circumstance aren't looking to give me any other choice. I am accepting offers. I'd like to keep them north of 1500. Make me an offer, and I'll see what I can do. I'm doing my best to keep my sentimental values out of the situation. This truck is in great condition for the age. It would be a great builder and a good restore project. I'll try to get some pictures of the interior here soon and I will provide a link when I get them. Thank you for looking and I hope everyone has a great day and God Bless!
