Please help me identify this truck.

I worked on the truck when i was younger with my grandpa and in his passing he has left it to me. I cant keep it because i have no room at my home. I haven't really been able to find any info on what exactly it is i was told it was a 49 ford and that's it. I am currently 4 hours from the truck so any help would be great thanks. Sorry to bother you folks.

It's a 1951 half ton F-1 with 226 cubic inch six cylinder. It is also equipped with the "5 Star Extra" trim package that was first offered in 1951. Nice truck, and welcome. Stu

I probably should 't ask this here but. Every single part is there it all here trim and all. But the fenders and motor are out but still with it. How do i go about selling something like this?I really want to see it go to someone who will do something with it "not chop the top or rat rod it".

Trucks with a family history are really special. I understand the lack of storage but I would urge that you try everything possible before looking for a good home. Regrets are forever.

Looks like the grill was chromed at one time. Nice truck, really could be a great project. There is nothing you can do about whoever buys it. Too bad you can't keep it, I agree you'll regret letting it go. Good luck

Welcome to the forum. Too bad you must dispose of a truck with family history but getting rid of it is better than letting it sit and deteriorate beyond repair. It appears you have a buyer just above. If it were a bit closer and or logistics could be worked out, I am in the market for such a truck.
Do you have proof of ownership such as a transferable title?
Does the title numbers match the number on the passenger side top frame rail toward the front of the truck?

Well, you came to the right place... folks around these parts don't like them thar "Rat Rods". And not too many of us chop tops either. And all of us here at FTE, whether we are stockers or like to customize a bit (we call them darksiders here) love these trucks and take good care of them!

Nice looking truck... Sorry you have to get rid of it... But it's better to sell it that let it just sit. I'm one of the ones that regrets letting my first F1 go...

That's a nice looking truck, too bad you have to get rid of it.
A truck with a family history is kind of special.
If you can work a deal out with Arctic you can be sure it's going to a good home.

That's a unique color scheme, I kind of like it.
