remove headlight switch 1973 F100
#2
If you have the **** off, then all you have to do is unplug the wire connector from the switch and unscrew the nut off the front of the shaft. The switch will drop out the back of the dash then. The nut is round with either two or three indentions in it for a special socket. I usually use a pair of diagonal cutters with the tips placed in the indentions to unscrew those nuts.

To access the nut on the front of the dash you have to remove your dash bezel. It only a few screws and depending on what stereo and face plate you have, it too?
And a wiper switch ****, on that one just the **** comes off.
I hope you found out how to pull the headlight switch **** and shaft together, like it suppose to be, by pressing the small release button on top of the switch assembly.
