F350 models?

Did Ford make an F350 SC LB 4X4 in the 1992 to 1996 model years? If not, did they make them for other years? I know they made an F250 SC LB 4X4 as I've seen lots of them but I've only seen F350's in Standard Cab LB configurations and the F350 CC LB 4X4's

I don't think so. I think 4x4 f350s were in 2 choices: std cab and crew cab. 2wd might be different, and all 97> f350s were long beds. Now, if you go to the first 4x4 f350, 1979, there was a super cab 4x4 option. Pretty rare.

i don't recall ever seeing anyone here with one of those, nor in person.so id guess no.
however building one (the easiest way) instructions are as follows:
buy a 9th gen (92-96/97hd) f250 sc 4wd and simply swap the D60 in place of the D50 then swap out the rear 2" spring blocks for the f350 4wd's 4" and project complete.just as she'd come off the assembly line had they offered one, minus the door jam sticker, fender emblems and vin of course.

i think you might be thinking of the first years for the short bed super cab options for the f250's.you may be right, but iv never heard of such a combo.

FordF250HDXLT, thank you. I didn't know the F250HD and the F350 were so similar. All I want to do is haul a camper or tow a travel/camper trailer so a regular F250 would work. I was simply curious about the F350's as I see so many of them here in BC.

The only way to get a supercab F350 from 80-97 was as a dually. And dually pickups were NOT available in 4wd.

So..... NO you could Not have gotten a 4wd Supercab F350.

You are correct on the Supercab f250s and reg cab/crewcab F350s in 4wd(and 2wd)

yes, same basic trucks.back in earlier years, pre 9th gen (and then oddly again one more time in just 1997 they had a different f250 which was a light duty.kinda like a heavy f150 truck.
the 9th gen f250 2wd trucks are all just f350 2wd trucks.4wd's are the ones that are a bit different with a ttb or straight axle.
technically either truck can tow and haul the same as the other.mechanically the difference isn't there (nothing worth mentioning) it's all about marketing.
of course off roading, lifts and or plowing commercially, the d60 would be the better option, but ride height is kept lower with the d50 for easier use of loading the truck and fuel economy a bit better with a truck sitting lower.though many don't want to hear it,the d60 isn't without it's cons vs the d50.everything has pro's and con's.

in summery, don't fear to buy the super cab f250 sc 4wd combo your after and haul your camper as you would with an f350.overloads and or air bags are just as easily added.
