Do any of ya'll fish the Verdigris River, Below Oologah Lake?

I was wondering if there is much fishing action in this river? I scouted a new fishing spot this morning right near a bridge. It looks like prime flathead catfish water! I'm gonna go back and drop a jugline and trotline and see what I pull out. FYI, I'll be fishing the river above the Port of Catoosa. In case ya'll didn't know Bird Creek flows into the Verdigris River just below the Port of Catoosa. And there is a sewage treatment plant between Hwy75 and Hwy169 that dumps into Bird Creek which feeds into the Verdigris River below the Port. Yuck.
