Think it's a little overpriced, but for a grand less, I would bite...

Well to me at least, the $3k asking price doesn't seem too far fetched for such a rare truck. However before making any sort of counter offer I'd be sure to look over that cab really good to check for other signs of rot. Both past and present. And if all checked out good I'd counter with a $2k bid. Then negotiate from there.

*looks at listing* *sees faded paint with possible rust on hood and fender, and rusty wheels* list of new stuff and extras looks good... 2nd owner... low miles.. not bad... not bad.... *looks at price*

*record scratch*

whaaaaaaat????

surely he has an extra "0" in there? the truck i bought a year ago for 800 bucks looks better, and it "runs and drives straight" and has low miles too

if he wants more than 5 grand for it he better slap a new coat of paint on it at least...

I figured that price tag would get a few comments! haha
I must ask though, you found a 77 bronco for 800.00?? I've been shopping for one for a long time, and have never found anything that cheap worth considering.

bronco, no. the f250 in my sig pic. found it in some little side-of-the-road used car dealer up in the northwoods of wisconsin who only had like 4 trucks for sale... he was asking $1000. my husband offered $800 and he took it. sad thing is... it was being sold on commission, and the guy actually wanted $2800 for it, and if he was trying to sell it anywhere else, he probably would have gotten it... it's easily worth that much, but no one wanted a 2wd truck up in WI. 4x4 is the way to go up there. so it sat in the dealer's lot for a YEAR, and a week before i drove by, the guy called and said "get whatever you can for it" so the dealer marked it down to $1000.

this is pics of when i bought it a year ago. http://imgur.com/a/UlLmD

Good score katzklaw! Yea broncos are hard to find that haven't been modified, off-roaded and beat to death, or a complete rust bucket. This is an Idaho bronco so I doubt it has the rust issues you deal with in Wisconsin, but the price tag is steep for sure. I doubt it sells for that unless a fanatic with big bucks spots it
