oil dip stick help

I am putting a 5.0 out of a 89 Bronco ( bought at a swap meet just for the core & bolt on pieces so it may be from anything) into my 49 Ford F-1 I used the oil pan & timing cover that came with the engine. I bought a rebuild ATK engine and changed the bolt on parts and stuck the engine in the truck NOW i started to think about the oil dip stick and can not even find where it used to go so I can start to find a replacement. The oil pan has the sump more towards the back, but not all the way back. I needed this style pan because I used a Mustang 11 rack for steering. Any ideas where to look ?

As you probably know by now, older SBF motors had the dip stick going into the front cover on one side with the fuel pump on the other side. Newer motors are fuel injected and Ford changed the front cover to eliminate the fuel pump and dip stick. The dip stick moved to the side of the oil pan. I bought a crate motor with the Fox double sump pan but changed to a front sump aftermarket pan. I had to cut out the dip stick part of the Fox pan and weld it into the side of the front sump pan. This is what a think you are probably looking at.
