Securing Emblems

This weekend I'd like to install the "Custom Cab" emblems and the hood side emblems on my '56.

The hood emblems have the metal clips for the posts and two threaded studs. Are there rubber isolators that need to be installed with the threaded studs or just bolted direct?

For the "Custom Cab" emblems how are they secured to the door? The holes are drilled already but what will hold the emblem to the door? Double sided tape? Push nuts from within the door? They have two smooth posts on the backside.

Seems like a simple solution but I couldn't find it after some time searching.

I like to dab a bit of 3M trim adhesive (sold at the auto parts stores) on the mounting posts and a few spots elsewhere. The yellow stuff is especially sticky.
