a bag full of interesting

welp, Ive got a new problem. My truck has an irritating wobble at 35-40 mph. Litterally as soon as I hit 35 and until I hit about 45 mph, my truck's front end wobbles and vibrates and I dont know why. Ive got brand new tires all around, all weighted and balanced correctly, the front end is all tight (jacked it up, grabbed the tire and tried to shake it, didnt move much at all), the front end is greased, the wheels bearings are good (I just had them out when I did the front brake rotors. They are smooth and almost overpacked with grease). I have new front brake rotors as well as one of the old rotors was warped.

Any ideas? Maybe a tweaked rim? I dont see them as bent and the tires seal fine so I dont think either of them are dented...the lugnuts are tight too...

Its only for the most part while Im driving at the speed listed above. Whether Im on the gas and accelerating, or coasting to a stop, the vibration is there. It feels like an up and down kind of vibration if that helps...accelerate up to about 43-45 and above or drop to under 30 and it goes away completely... what is it?

How are your shocks? Is it 4x4? Can you jack up all four corners and spin the tires to look for wobbling?
I'm thinking that your shocks are worn out and you may have one or more tires mounted crooked on the rim. It has happened to me a couple times.
It can be corrected if caught soon enough but after a while the tire will take a "set" and will need to be replaced.

x2 on tire probs. Could be rim. My old 4x4 van had a bad wobble at around 65. Well Id always have to put air in it after a few weeks. It sat for along time flat and got water in it causing a wobble haha. Does it do the "death wobble"? Thats always fun haha

fortunately, no death wobble here. This issue is with my 2wd supercab. Ill have to have the tires checked sometime soon. The shocks are pretty old...anyone got suggestions on cheap (yet decent) replacements?

Check your track bar bushings.
They can LOOK Ok then go away quick.
If there is a small balance vibe at a certain speed it will be amplified if those bushings are bad.
Just assuming it's a 4x

Edit: Just reread it's a 2x
So check steering

When I was in high school I had a '73 F-100 that got where it would shake violently about that speed. I mean to the point that stuff would fly off the dash and I couldn't do anything but hit the brakes and stop. Turned out that the king pins were shot. Replaced them and also the radius arm bushings and had no more trouble.

Radius bushings are still good. They look like recent replcaements and due to my oil leaks, they are still in excellent shape. The ball joints are good. Kingpins may be a possibility

Mine isn't very violent at all though. It won't shake things off the dash or even shake the steering wheel or pedals. Its more of a pulsing vibration...which is why I find it kind of weird...
