dana 60 swap

my friend just offered me a dana 60 straight front axle for my 96 f250 for 200 bucks out of a 93 ton. i was wondering how extensive this swap would be and what kind of parts i would need not including the axle, i have a 6 inch skyjacker lift on and dont know if that would affect anything. i know its a good deal on this and im thinking of doing a 410 gear swap as well. i want to know if anybody has been around any swaps like this and if its worth my effort and money. im thinking of doing a bigger lift later and thats not possible with my ttb front axle as far as i know. it would be an awesome help if somebody could tell me pretty in depth what this would take and what kind of parts i would need to get and ballpark price range.

thanks

96 f250 powerstroke
superchip, downpipe, 4 inch exhaust
6 inch lift 17 inch weld wheels and 37 bfg's

It is a pretty straight forward swap.
Go and search the forums. There has been a lot of guys that have done the swap.

I've also got a 96 F250 4x4 that I'm tired of aligning etc. Very little off-road, just for mountain camping etc. carrying a 3000lb cab-over. From what I've been reading here, I want a D60 from an F350, along with the front drive shaft and front transfercase yoke. Have I got it right? Anything else? It's currently not lifted and I'd rather keep it a stock height. Will the pumpkin clear as long as I use the 350 springs?
Thanks guys

Balljoint D60s

But still, for that price I'd get it too.
