Ya... its amazing all the odd things that affect tire wear. Shocks, tie-rods, ***** joints, brakes... jesus lol

I agree... stopping is up there on my priority list. And I am actually impressed at the stock stopping power of the factory brakes. I just think with the longer wheelbase models, the added weight warps the rotors from the extra heat generated. And I hate the squeak when I am cruising with my windows down

Random question.... are you still using your stock column shifter in the F250, or did you replace it? Or will you be replacing it?

I have had good luck with the non-extreme version. It definitely helps to use the right goop for the job. If hers is stuck it is because a boot cracked. And the last time I did her brakes, the pin was seized but replacement parts were very tough to get so I just had to clean it up on the wire wheel and re-use it. This time, I ordered all those parts ahead of time.

I'm actually pulling the column and removing the shifter tonight lol. I'm going to an automatic floor shifter out of a mustang.

Right front caliper seized up last Thursday. When I got the truck to my buddy's house, drivers side front rotor was 180 deg, passengers side was 600

I was on my way to another friends wedding, so I got to replace it this Sunday after 3 days of constant partying... and it was 90 outside Hello dehydration... oh well, she drives good again. Rotors did not warp any worse than they were either. I will probably cut down the rotors and replace the other caliper early this summer so the set stays matched.

I was delighted to see that my extensive anti-siezing I did last summer held up and the front brakes on my SD are in excellent shape.

Not sure yet. I have most of the stuff. I need to get a box to mount the buttons, a relay (maybe), aluminum c channel, clear silicone, and magnets. Right now, I just haven't had any time... Wedding is June 13th, so probably not much before then. I have the backup lights to install too. My to-do list far exceeds my free time.... I need to get my garden going too.

No updates... truck has been driving great. Wedding is this weekend. In a week or so I'll have my life and hopefully part of my wallet back so projects can ensue. The list of maintenance on everything is getting pretty long

Matt, if you read this, know one thing.... whatever the wedding and reception are going to cost.... at 20% minimum to all the formalities that are going to nickel and dime the crap out of you I am giving away the equivalent of a new set of truck tires just in tips to all the professionals involved.

This thread is great! Seeing some really cool stuff to do to a CCLB, and that light setup on your quad is beastly!

Kickass wedding band too
