K. Here is what I found. Larry calls the trail Glacier Ridge trail in his Volume One Book. The trail up to Glaicier Peak he calls Glacier Peak trail. On Trail Damage they call the trail to Glacier Peak, Glacier Ridge trail. But in the text of the write up he indicates an intersection for SOB Hill. Looks like SOB Hill is what I was thinking about and what Larry called Glacier Ridge Trail in his volume 1 book. Here a write up on SOB Hill/ Glacier Ridge Trail: SOB Hill 8/17 Seems it is done in both directions and is still open.
The other trail I mentioned is Wheeler Lake. There are numerous write up on that if you do a search.
its been such an awful week, that a huge part of me wants to load up the Jeep, haul it out to Colorado, and drive up in the mountains and disappear for a while, and camp out till they come looking for me.
Well Curtis and I have been talking-- and we were thinking going out on Sat stopping in Limon- then on to Breckenridge Sunday- Then change camp to Buena vista until Saturday-- Head back to limon on Saturday and return home on Sunday.
If I don't have to cough up for a new transmission in the SD, that sounds like a great plan. AJ may want to ride as far as Hays going out and stay with a friend for the week.
