I've been more frequently posting on here so I thought maybe I'd share some updates of my truck. Here goes. Truck will probably go to bodyshop next week!

Brought the front clip home today. Here's some previews of whats to come!







I have to cut the inner fenders because of the new front suspension. That's why it looks like it's tilted forward.

Here's what I have to cut.





Here's my driveshaft. Have to powder coat it still.



Then I threw the rad in to see how much clearance there is and how damn good it's gonna look!

I noticed that you straightened up the garage wall before taking pictures so we'd think it's always that way.

 

Nah, actually I keep it really clean. Everything else I own is a mess. heh

Liar I once thought that George's garage was like a hospital. Then I went and saw it for myself. He was the automotive world's last chance at a clean garage. No such luck.

The truck is looking good. Very nice detail work. I know I have said this more than once but here's another rerun. I really like the contrast on that 54 grill. The blue and white go great together. Just the right combo makes the 54 grill look real stylish to me. I have no idea what color you're going with, but I like the way it looks now. I'm sure it will only get better from here. keep us updated.

 

I'm not sure what I want to do with the grill. I would like it chromed but that is just major $$$, so maybe I'll get it powder coated with a powder that looks like chrome? Or maybe polish....Or even keep it white?

I'm keeping it primer for a year then I'll paint it next year. A very very dark purple.

Certain things go unsaid here. We don't point out anyone elses rust, or laugh about someone's stuck flatty or wiring harness meltdown. No style points will be awarded for that post Dueller. It will be subtracted from your good post total. I believe you're back to three again. I'm at least 5 ahead of you now.
