Rear spring hanger flip question

I'm in the process of flipping my rear spring hangers. Im to the point where I'm drilling some holes. I reused the forward most hold from the old rivets, and the rear-most upper hole, and it seems to have moved the mount back about 1". Is this right? Also, one of the new holes goes right into a factory bent in the frame cross support, and it seems like it would not be possible to get a bolt/nut in there. Any opinions?

That's right.....

As you move the springs 'up' the mounting points grow farther apart.

As you move the springs 'down' the mounting points grow closer together.

It seems like I ended up with the opposite of what you're describing though. My spring hangers moved about an inch back, meaning the front spring mount is now closer to the rear shackle mount. It seems to drive and and handle well (feels to me just like stock actually), minus alot of driveline vibration, lol. Looks like I'm going to need about 8degree pinion angle shims! I just drilled a new hole a little higher on the spring hanger and through the frame, and I was just barely able to get a nut through. I'll post a picture later, I really like the stance.

Here is a picture of exactly what I ended up doing. It looks like the exact same configuration I saw pictured in another thread, but I'd just like to make sure it's right.

Anymore input?

Here's a shot of the truck I snapped this morning. Keep in mind I bought this thing for $100, so it's a bit rough, but atleast it's not at the crusher and it's getting driven. I ordered my 6° pinion angle shims from Summit, unfortunately my truck is basically not driveable until they get here due to a ridiculous amount of driveline vibration! Hopefully Summit ships fast! Anyway, here's a pic of the stance, it looks pretty good, I'm happy with it!
