Part number for this?

Can anyone provide a part number for the following?

http://www.fordparts.com/Commerce/Ca...EA31089#Search
Then go to Exhaust and then Muffler. Sorry, I couldn't get a direct link.

I cant find it because the market is saturated with aftermarket mufflers.

Why dont you consider one of those? They sound better and are cheaper.

That would probably be the sensible thing to do. I have an aftermarket (Flowmaster dual pipe and single muffler) system now from the previous owner but don't care for the sound. I was happy with the sound of the stock exhaust from my earlier F250. The problem is that the OEM muffler and attached pipes is expensive unless I can find it on eBay or other online sources. Unfortunately that requires a part number to make sure there is an exact fit. That's what I'm trying to accomplish.

If its sounds you want to avoid, Flowmaster is not the brand for you. Look into other brands. There are lots of quite aftermarket mufflers. Walker Big Truck Muffler comes to mind.

Another sensible approach - I checked NAPA and another auto parts store carrying Walker. Their parts are supposed to be OEM like with an equivalent sounding muffler but what I need comes in 3 sections as opposed to one with the Ford part. I would have to clamp or have the sections welded together. The difference in the price of the parts alone is now around $400. I'm hoping with a little effort I can get that narrowed down to around $200, which is OK with me. All I need is a Ford part number to do a little searching.

Thanks!!!! That's the part number I was trying to find. Hopefully I can find the part available somewhere close by at a reasonable price. I travel between Las Vegas and San Diego through Kingman, AZ occasionally. Maybe a Ford dealer between there will work.

I don't know if this makes a difference in the part number but my truck has the 2 catalytic converters in the Y-pipe instead of the single one shown above. The link I provided earlier shows the correct schematic.

Its the same part. When you type in the ford part number (6C3Z-5230-G) it comes up with the same part as you posted earlier; 5230 on the website.
