I had about 8 items chrome plated last week for my 52 F-1:
gas filler, dash trim, hood latch, dash gage trim rims, hanging brake peddle arm, etc. all for $100. I was thrilled at what was a pretty low cost.
They did a great job for me and you could probably ship items in to them if you do not have a chrome location close to service you.
I had mine done in San Antonio but the plating plant is in Dallas.

I am rebuilding my dash gages & repainting them and will post pictures and what I did to them in a few days.

Very cool, what was the name of the business? I was looking to have my bumpers re-chromed and the place I called wanted 900 each so I politely told them to take a hike.
