2009 F150 4.6 3V Into 2001 F150 4.2

I have an 8K mile 2009 F150 3V complete motor with accessories and wiring harness, and complete 6 speed auto trans, that I would like to swap into my 2001 F150 Flareside Reg Cab Sport with 4.2 motor. I know it will physically bolt in fairly easily using '01 4.6 motor mounts, but what will it take to wire it up? Anyone have any experience with this type of swap? How about a shop in So Cal that can assist after I bolt the motor and tranny in? Any help will be appreciated.

You'll need the gas-pedal assembly too, and the wiring going to it, as the 3-valve is a "fly-by-wire" system that doesn't use a throttle cable.

As for the rest of your question, I have no clue

Just something to be aware of......
you will have to meet all of the smog regs for 2009 and if that engine (specific) was not offered as an option, you get to go to a federal referee station....
it ain't gonna be fun..............
