code P0301

TRUCK HAS BEEN BUCKING A LITTLE BIT AROUND 45 MPH UNDER THROTTLE AND TODAY I HAD TO JUMP ON THE GAS TO PASS A TRUCK AND TRUCK BUCKED REAL BAD AND ENGINE LIGHT STARTED FLASHING
IT WENT OFF AND WHEN I WAS ABLE TO PUT THE SCANNER ON IT I WAS TOLD IT WAS A MISFIRE ON CYLINDER 1 AND CODE P0301
IS THIS JUST A PLUG OR IS IT A COIL ISSUE OR BOTH?

jr105 is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
Try switching the coil with another cylinder and see if the problem follows the coil.

Plugs been changed? Mileage?
