05 F250 suspension question

Will the suspension from an 08 F350 for my 06 F250. Someone is selling a 08 F350 suspension really cheap and I liked the way my 03 F350 road better than my new F250.

Your post is confuzzling. '05 and '08 are the same suspension. '03 is a leaf spring. Please re-think and re-state your question.

front of the 08 is same as 05-07 truck, but the rear of the 08 suspension is different from 99-07 trucks. the rear leafs are longer and have a different front leaf perch.

There is a company that sells the conversion hangers so you can install the 08 leafs into a 99-07 truck. but it's somewhat expensive for no real gain in my eyes

My 03 was a 6.0 that was stolen on fathers day morning. I had to get a new truck. I think the 350's had a stiffer but better ride then the 250's. I was wondering if the suspension from an 08 f350 will fit my 06 F250 for the stiffness. Plus I do tree work so having the heavier pay load is a plus. (It only comes with rear leaf helper springs.)

you have a slight confusion going on here

There is no difference between a F-250 and a F-350 in terms of weight carrying capacity. Their difference is on paper. Each truck has the same capacity. Each truck can get overload springs. It's all a paper game because in some states you have to liscnce F-350 as commercial, so guys buy F-250.

If you want your new truck to ride softer, try letting a little air out of the tires. What PSI are you running?

As far as rides go, the 08+ trucks ride softer and while they may be rated higher, they are known for sagging more than a 99-07 truck with the same weight load. This is due to the longer leaf springs and fewer leafs. Same strength, just more flex.

Ok. That's what I was looking for. Thanks. So its not any stiffer. I won't waist my time with it.
