5.4L 4V Shelby GT500 into 97 F150

We are in the process of fitting a crate Shelby GT500 engine into a 4.6 F150.
It's going to be a tight fit since the top end of the 4v is massive compared to the 4.6 2v. Has anyone tried this? One of the first issues is cooling. The 5.4 has the water inlet in the middle of the block, that means dual electric fans as opposed to the belt driven fan. Will the radiator of a Lightning support 500HP or will I have to sort it from somewhere else? For the dual fans I choosed the Maradyne MM22KX which flow around 4000CFM, so I guess I'm covered there.
Upon first evaluation, a lot of parts are going to have to be moved around, my main concern is the brake booster. Also, are the motor mounts different on the 5.4 to 4.6? Any input is highly appreciated. Gary

Stock radiator will be fine. ( I'm running about 800hp at the crank with the stock radiator)
You need to have the current computer custom tuned(cant just swap computers) the computer works that particular transmission in your F-150.
Only time you need to swap computers is if you go with a different tranny. Then you need the computer for that tranny.
Motor mounts should be the same.

The engine is a crate M-6007-C54. I also have the M601754SC computer and wire harness. I'll look into the Lightning radiator. The original transmission is a 5 speed (I think it's a Mazda). For the SVT we have a Son of Tranzilla 6 speed from Rockland Standard Gear which is good for 800HP. I'll start posting as the job gets done.

You may want to look up some parts for a 1998 to 2002 Lincoln Navigator, since they use a 5.4L 32-valve V8 as OEM, lacking only the supercharger.

m-chan68, excellent tip! That's going to help sorting out some parts such as motor mounts and radiator (on many pages it's stated as a HD radiator).
Air intake and MAF sensor will be a different issue since it's a totally different intake (center fed).
Anyone know where I can sort out the drive by wire accelerator?

We are just getting started, most of the parts are here (Argentina), but I will surely need some more. Will start posting pictures as soon as we get the 4.6 out.

What are you doing for fuel delivery? I'd imagine the stock setup is quite a bit lacking for your goals.

Check out Lethal Performance for fuel systems if you haven't gotten this sorted yet - they have quite a few kits which should work well for your application.

Updates:
We are working on the suspension right now, I will post pictures soon.
20" x 8.5 Centerline forged Millenium Series Edge #4772856552, we just installed a Belltech lowering kit part #921ND, -2 inches up front, -3 inches rear. Belltech 1 3/8 front and 1" rear sway bar. I'm also installing a SSBC 14" / 4 piston front brakes part#A165. We are stuck on the rear brakes. I bought 99 Lightning calipers and rear discs, but I need the brackets and can't find them. Can anyone shed some light into this or where I can get brakets to attach the calipers to the axle?
