Lowering shackles

I've got a 96 f150 4x4 single cab.. right now it's got a 3 in body lift and 33x12.50's. Im wanting to remove the lift and use the 2 inch drop shackles in the rear.. Has anyone done this, can it be done? I don't want a lowered look necessarily but just lower than stock, could I keep the lift in the rear end and take it off in the front?

Just take the lift off and put on a small leveling kit

im guessing its because they don't sell any "for a 4x4" I want to keep my 33x12.50's.. this isn't my daily driver its more of a weekend toy, im putting 2" wheel spacers on it so that should help with the 33's rubbing in the front right? we've got a lighting that has a drop kit in the rear so it sits with the front end higher than the rear and it has 2 inch spacers and the stance is mean as hell and that's what im goin for
