1969 Lowbuck build...

Just found out I am the proud owner of a 69 F100 Shortbed. The truck is a shell only that comes with a Crown Vic front suspension. The truck came from Georgia/North Carolina. (I'm located in Upstate NY) My plans are to put this truck together for under $5000, so I will be doing much scrounging for parts and pieces. Just some of the highlights I have planned: Crown Vic suspension, Frenched Cadillac Deville tail lights, frt & rear roll pans, C-notch frame, 69 Camaro bumpers cut down to bumperettes, reverse opening hood. The drivetrain will be determined by price and availability. I have a line on a 99 Lincoln MK VIII 32v 4.6 with all the wiring and computers or possibly a 72 Buick 455 we wil see. I will post updates periodically on the progress. Can't wait to get started!! Nice to be aboard, Chub

Thanks for the welcoming committee...

Thanks for the warm welcome. Although I am the owner of this truck I have not "officially" received possession of it yet. It is located approximately 45mi from my home. The friend I am getting it from has not had a chance to deliver it as of yet. He has been working 7 days a week and just hasn't been able to do me the favor of delivering it. Until I receive it I'm afraid I don't have any pics. Chub

Sounds like a cool project and seem to have alot of parts already collected for the build; makes room for your 5K build to be met.
