what in the ever love of all htat is real is up with that "hood scoop" on that singer slinger truck?

 

If I remember right that truck runs a 540ish BBC with a big ole super charger/ blower. 1200 sum-odd HP, funny looking but still kinda cool custom hood.

Edit: Here ya go. That Cajun truck is part of that group as well.

 

meh, i'd prefer to be able to see.... you're already in a ten foot tall truck with horseshyte visibility, i'd figure out some kind of dual snorkel setup before i built a hood wall in front of my window to protect the charger.

 

looks like some of them might be rear or mid engine,i love them designs.

 

Probably why it's offset. I've seen a few trucks and even cars these days offsetting the cowl so you can still see. It looks like he's got better line of sight then any of us do with our standard 6'' cowls on the mustangs. That being said, that's still a ****ing huge *** cowl.

Yup, that's Shawn P. Goodeaux's truck, it's an effin beast. He owns Singer Slinger, Warrior (third pic of it on it's side) and his wife owns the Cajun Sling.

That was during the freestyle competition. The ******* drunk came into the pit like it was an open bog, he got kicked out.

I do agree though! lol

 

That's the only bad things about those type's of events is to many drunks with a truck. I have no problem wit drinking, But when your there to race or drive there is no place for alcohol. several tracks here have gone to if you get caught drinking when your a racer you are DQ'd no refund. once your done racing then you can drink all you want
