P.S. Complete Fluid Change??

I'd like to do a complete Power Steering fluid change on my 2001 F-150, and can't figure out how to do this. On my Aerostat I jacked the front end up, disconnected the fuel cut off switch and just cut the return hose under the bumper. I had someone crank the engine, while turning the wheel stop to stop and I poured fluid in to the reservoir till it ran clear into the bucket. On my F-150 I can't figure out where to cut the hose.

For me I used a suction gun to pull all of the fluid except for maybe 1/4 inch. Then I replaced it with new fluid. After that I ran it for a little while to mix the new and old fluid. Then I sucked out what was in the resivior and replaced it. To me this was good. I renewed the fluid. Now you can do it how you wish. I bet there is a way to pull the line pumping out fluid and pour in fresh at the same time

should be very similar to your areostar idea. assuming you have a 4.6l or 5.4l what i would do, if you look at the bottle there are two hoses attached to it, one big one small. the big one goes to the pump, the other (small) is the return line. i actually lost PS last week from a rusty return line and replaced the line tonight. 10 min job. the small line goes from the tank to the cooler. i put a oil pan under that point and separated it there, and let the resevoir drain. i then replaced line. in your case i would disconnect the line frome both ends, remove it and reattach to the cooler end. put the open end into your waste bucket. i would go to a parts store and get some rubber vaccum boots, napa has a kit assortment that should have one for the nipple on the bottom of the tank. id fill the tank, and fire the engine, the pump should run sucking from the tank and going into your waste bucket. not that i promote causing harm to components, but ive run these ford pumps with no fuild, (week) and on my other truck i had a pinhose in one line casuing it to suck air and wine real bad. i had that problem for months, which leads me to a question, what is the issue you are trying to resovle by flushing the PS system?

Same here, I used a turkey baster with a hose on the end of it to get deep. Took some time but worked ok.. 1 beer job. Pulled the fluid out and refilled 3 times while cycling the wheel in between.
